My time at Victoria University wrapped up in 2018 with an Arch (Prof) master’s thesis – a foray into the forests of New Zealand – understanding how we might play in the trees with our endangered birds on Kāpiti Island.
I spent a gap year freelancing as a photographer and tutoring design, history and sustainability, travelling around New Zealand and running the Australasian Student Architecture Congress committee (DISSENT2019). I’m always looking for ways where I can stretch my understanding of architecture in multiple fields – taking an interest in fashion, graphic design, and film-making. I still love to take the odd photo now and again.
You’ll find me on weekends at the opshop, at the movies, or at home with a paintbrush.
