Mark has been involved in a range of different project types from small residential alterations to larger new commercial projects. Recent highlights include involvement as project architect on a large extension to an existing aquatic sports facility, the roll-out of new fuel stations for a large commercial client, and involvement in a large apartment development.
He enjoys all aspects of the architectural profession, taking great satisfaction from seeing initial concept design develop to built form and working with the diverse range of people within the construction industry necessary to make this possible. He has also recently completed the New Zealand Green Building Council accreditation process, becoming a Green Star Accredited Professional - focusing on design futures that integrate harmoniously with the environment.
Mark is keen cyclist, and enjoys fishing and diving, touch rugby and running. He enjoys spending quality time with his wife and two lively children.
