Elise_1.jpg

Elise’s time at Victoria University wrapped up in 2018 with an Arch (Prof) master’s thesis – a foray into the forests of New Zealand – understanding how we might play in the trees with our endangered birds on Kāpiti Island.

She spent a gap year freelancing as a photographer and tutoring design, history and sustainability, travelling around New Zealand and running the Australasian Student Architecture Congress committee (DISSENT2019). Elise is always looking for ways where she can stretch her understanding of architecture in multiple fields – taking an interest in fashion, graphic design, and film-making.

On weekends, you’ll find Elise at the opshop, at the movies, or at home with a paintbrush.
