Christchurch Netball Centre

Christchurch Netball Centre is a 10-court facility within the Ngā Puna Wai sports hub in Christchurch.

The courts feature high-quality timber floors, ensuring an ideal playing surface. Natural daylight floods the expansive 10,000m2 space thanks to the use of large polycarbonate panels on the façade.

Distinctive Canterbury red is woven throughout the building highlighting public areas such as the main entrance and change facilities. Within the main sports hall, feature vinyl graphics create games participants can play to help warm up or sharpen their passing skills. A large mezzanine viewing area overlooks all 10 courts for excellent visibility.

Additionally, prominent red super graphics have been strategically incorporated to facilitate wayfinding, ensuring that visitors can easily navigate the facility. The Christchurch Netball Centre is another successful collaborative effort between Architecture HDT and Apollo Projects.
