Soda Cafe and Wine Bar

The award winning Soda Bar is a hot spot in Napier’s buzzing café and bar scene.

The building is a slender and contemporary two-storey space with transparent glazed pods at each end linked with a mezzanine floor between, with the construction pallet consisting of polished concrete, steel and glass. The interior introduces deep walnut stained oak and custom designed fabric wrapped wall panels. This striking insertion into the streetscape has been designed in conjunction with the creation of a pedestrian walkway between a public parking area and the main shopping street in Taradale.
